Ģirts Bērziņš is Member of Board and Head of Retail for Swedbank in Latvia. Prior to his current role Ģirts was Chief Technology Officer of Lattelecom, Head of IT and Administrative Support in OAO Swedbank (Russia). As well Ģirts has managed payment cards business, branch network, product development and IT in Hansabank Latvia. Ģirts Bērziņš has obtained Master Degree in Economics at University of Latvia.
